 HOW TO INPUT TV3 BISS CODE ON THE FOLLOWING DECODERS

1.Change the channel to TV3
2.Just press Menu on the remote controll and enter 8888, a page will pop up as in the picture
3.Press the BLUE button on the remote 3x to find BISS
4.Scroll down to the last Biss codes listed.
5.Press OK a page will pop up
Now follow the procedure in the picture to enter the keys
Do same as in the picture
6.After entering the keys, press the side positive volume key (V+) to move the orange icon to select OK and press the OK on the remote control to SAVE.
Now you can exit to start watching.

1. SUPERMAX 91001 : Press the menu key. Then press 7799 code for biss key.
2. TECHOSAT 2000 ULTRA 1 : Simply press menu button and press 5400.
3. STARSAT 9700 & 7979 : Simply press menu keys on your remote control, then press 9999 for biss key.
4. STARSAT 2000 HD ACE : Press f1 on your remote control, then press 333 and biss key menu will open.
5. SAMTEL 7000 HD: Simply press OK button, then press “0” and entre your biss key.
6. EL 7999 HD: Press on Menu buttom on your reomote control, then press “7777′ four times on your remote control and enter your biss key.

7. BISS CODE FOR STRONG DECODERS:-
Strong products such as SRT 4669XII, SRT 4669X, SRT 4920, SRT 4923, SRT 4922a , SRT 4950, SRT 4950M, SRT 4950H. Simply press 8280 on your remote control and a new screen will pop up. Please, if after pressing, new screen didn’t show up, you have to activate the biss key option first. At this point, press 6969 on your remote control and you will be asked for a password, simply press 6969 again on your remote control. After that press 8280 to enter the biss key path. But if biss key option have been activated on your decoder already, then you don’t need to go through such a long process. Simply follow this simple steps below:
– Select the channel you want to open.
– Press 8280 on your romote and press OK.
– The Biss Key menu will display.
– Enter your Key
– Press Exit to save setting.
8. BISS KEY CODE FOR QSAT DECODERS.
– press menu on remote contrtol.
– Enter default code which is usually “0000” unless if change by you, then you can enter your own code.
– Try to locate Xcam set up on your decoder.
– If Xcam set up not available or hinden, simply press 1512 on remote control and Xcam set up will pop up automatically. Please note that before you press 1512, make sure you are in area of your decoder where you see things like “Preference, AV, Ethernet Config, PVR Config, Multimedia setting etc.
9. ECHO STAR DECODERS.
– Press menu on your remote control.
– Select system settings
– Press the red button on your control
– Enter 2528
– Enter your keys.
– Press the Red button twice.
– Finally, press OK.
10. AlphaBox X4 decoder. Follow the following procedure :
* Press the menu botton on your remote control.
* Locate settings
* On the setting Bar, enter 2778
* The access control option will display
* Clck or press OK on the Access Control
* Locate CONSTANT.CW Edit and press OK
* Input your biss key ( CAID:SERVICE ID: BISS KEY ).

The latest Whatsapp Feature makes Group Chat simple

WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature for its Android beta testers that lets users quote a specific message and reply to it. The update has been spotted in Android beta build (version 2.16.118).

The WhatsApp update is available for both person-to-person chat and groups. It is easy to use. Users will first need to select a particular message to quote. It could be either text or media message. Next, they will have to long press the message; following which a pop-up with Reply, Forward and Delete options will appear at the top.
The next step is easy. Just select the Reply option and WhatsApp will show a preview with the quoted message, and a small box to enter the reply. All a user needs to do now is type the reply and press send.

“Once you’ve sent your reply, it will show up inside the conversation with the original quoted message attached on top of it, along with the sender’s color-coded name,” says Android Police. WhatsApp will colour code different participants in a group with different colours, which actually make the feature best suited for group chats.

UPDATE ON QSAT FREEZING ISSUE
I wanna apologize to you guys for posting this a bit late, and to all of you who sent me mails, msgs etc while I was
away for my academic engagements. Pls check ur mails/ inbox for my replies. Thank you.
Based on my recent my findings, i discovered that d.*tv are upgrading and that is what is causing the freezing.
The fact is that, you don’t need to switch your internetconnections as long as your current connection connects
successfully.
Also, you don’t need to downgrade or your decoder as no software can currently patch the freezing.
The freezing will be sorted out by qsat team. Another thing i noticed is that hiptv is not even opening at all on
qsat, ss6 freezes terribly and channels is hell on the decoder. however most of the africa magics, and movie magics are manageable. Currently, am only using a cccam account...hoping for avatarcamhd account freezing issue
to be resolved soon.

LATEST UPDATE ON QSAT AND AZSKY PRESENT STATUS
Every thing i'm writing in this post is with 100% confidence.I want to let you guys know that for the past four dayazsky devices have been opening channels like ss3, ss7 and Yoruba on azsky dangles that still have active accounts. I don’t think they have comeback fully so please don’t think of renewing or buying any azsky accounts yet. once they are fully back, it will be known to all.for now, those who have active accounts in their azsky should enjoy their test transmission and also expect Azky engineer to try harder in conquering D*tv upgrade effects.
QSAT DECODERS SERIES WITH AVATARCAM CODES
The first thing i wanna point out is that qsat is partially online and working with amazing stability (though not as stable as tv1). Another thing worthy of note is that the strongest avatarcam codes starts with
54******* and 44********. Some qsat decoders with avatarcam code 40**, 41** etc have been offline for the past five days while some qsat with avatar can code 59*** 58** went of day before yesterday. Am saying it with clear confirmation and experience that the fact that some qsat are offline is not due to dst* upgrade, but it is rather due to qsat server overload and as at the time of typing this post, no software upgrades is required to get you qsat back on track. I suggest all you need to do is sit back, relax and wait until it is resolved by qsat. There is only one way for you to know that your qsat is affected by this code problem; You must have used all sim cards available to you and all 3g modems available to you and you must be sure that your qsat connects succesfully to the internet but it couldn’t connect to the server. to learn about how to activate qsat server or display your qsat avatarcam code/solving other qsat related problems by reading my posts on these topics:

There is still an alternative way to unlock your tv3 and enjoy free viewing. The can be done sing these steps listed:

How to wakeup a fried/ dead strong decoder & How to upgrade Strong Decoders via Pc

In this post two things will be addressed one is how you can wake your dead or fried original strong decoders via pc and rs-232 cable.

Warning: this post is not for you if you have a fake / clone strong decoder because your box will not wake up.

But for those who have the genuine decoders, complete the instructions below on how you can wake up your dead strong decoders… now your strong decoder may die as a result of several reasons including but not limited to the  fact that you may be trying to input or upload something that is corrupt or incompatible into it. E.g you are trying to update its firmware via a usb flash drive that is infected with virus.

There are two major ways  to wake a fried strong decoder
i. Through a computer Using RS-232 cable
ii. Thruough decoder to decoder via inter-decoder firmware transfer

Procedures and requirements on how to wake a dead strong decoder with another strong decoder

1. Get an rs-232 cable
2. Get another working decoder of that same type
3.connect the two decoder via rs232 and remember to swich off the fried one
4. Switch on the good one. Go to – system setting>> data transfer >>firmware press ok. Wait till it finish loading. That’s all. Drop your comments

PROCEDURES TO WAKE A FRIED DECODER WITH A PC  VIA RS-232 CABLE USING STRONG LOADER:

To do this via a pc you will need to have some basic things:

i download the strong loader for srong in middle east and africa click SRTLoader_Software_Uploaders_Middle East & Africa but for others get them HERE

ii Now download the software compatible with your decoder model from the list there

iii save both the loader and the software on your pc desktop for easier access

iv launch the srt loader and click on the browse button, locate your software and select

v. Now conect your decoder with the rs-232 cable and press auto detect on the loader menu. once your decoder is detected press on download and wait for the process to complete.

Warning, do not for any reason switch on the box before or during the process even if the box is not totally dead prior to theis process switch it off before the process

Patched Software For Strong – Fix minors bug & Descramble TV3 Ghana

I have been receiving request from different quarters(especially ghanian) to provide them with strong software that will open TV3 on multv. In this article, i shall be providing you with direct links to the software  courtesy of crosat.us. I will also let you know that i have personally tested two of the software; the one fro strong 4922A and the one for strong 4669x. They both work without issues. That notstanding, you still need to be careful while upgrading your strong decoder. All strong software provided here are not compatible with fake stong decoders. If you load any of the software on  a fake strong decoder, you will permanently soft brick your decoder. To start with, determin the genuineness of your strong decoder by following the link here.

Note: you must rescan your decoder manually after the upgrade with frequency:12522(V)27000  or use Multi TV latest frequency Astra 2 (28.2E)

HOW TO UPGRADE MY STRONG DECODER VIA USB DEVICE / PENDRIV

Make sure you have a stable electric power supply or supply or beta still use a generating set otherwise you may kill your decoder if their is a power failure
PROCEDURES:

i. Copy the software you downloaded into your flash drive
ii. Now from your decoder remote controller press Menu>> USB>> Data transfer Choose the folder select the software and press OK. NOTE: BE SURE TO USE THE RIGHT SOFTWARE ELSE YOU’LL FRY YOUR DECODER
I Repeat  make sure you use a healthy generator or a good UPS. So that you dont have your decoder fried like mine if your power-goes off.

FTA SATELITE CHANNEL/FREQUENCIES

Welcome on board once again. I am fully aware that since dst* smacked another sledge hammer on dongles and i ks decoder two days ago(Monday 19th May 2014), the fear is about the world cup. I mean we now have several unanswered questions like, will qsat, tv1, azsky… comes back before worldcup?.. Will dongle ever win the race?. Well i won’t sound hopeless and i won’t sound over-confidence. All i know is that, dongle companies / cccam server runners will stop at notthing to break back dst* channels before world cup. The reason being that, they are used to the quick cash they are making for us. As we all know that lemmymorgan.com is not merely about dongles only. I have always being trying to introduce you to alternative and stable way to watching satellite television. In my post two days ago, i talked about iptv.Today, i will be talkng about FTA(free to air)channels which can enable to watch some live matches since the most sought about event is soccer. For the records, if you have a qsat or a tv1 account that stopped working on Monday 19th may 2014, then you are not alone as dst* upgraded yet again. But we are hopeful of getting our boxes back before world cup.

WHAT IS FREE TO AIR (FTA)?
Free-to-air (FTA) describes television (TV) and radio services broadcast in clear (unencrypted) form, allowing any person with the appropriate receiving equipment to receive the signal and view or listen to the content without requiring a subscription, other ongoing cost or one-off fee (e.g. Pay-per-view). In the traditional sense, this is carried on terrestrial radio signals and received with an antenna.
FTA also refers to channels and broadcasters providing content for which no subscription is expected, even though they may be delivered to the viewer/listener by another carrier for which a subscription is required, e.g. cable, satellite or the Internet. These carriers may be mandated (or opt) in some geographies to deliver FTA channels even if a premium subscription is not present (providing the necessary equipment is still available), especially where FTA channels are expected to be used for emergency broadcasts, similar to the 112 emergency service provided by mobile phone operators and manufacturers.
Free-to-view (FTV) is, generally, available without subscription but is digitally encoded and may be restricted geographically.

WHAT EQUIPMENTS DO YOU NEED TO ENJOY FREE TO AIR CHANNELS TO THE FULLEST

You need some basic equipments to watch free to air channels.

• You need a satellite receiver; most modern iks decoders are all fta ready(e.g azsky g6, qsat, tlink, skybox….) However when you are using a strong decoder, i will advice you not to use strong 4663x and older. the reason is that strong 4663x and holder is mpeg-2 and most free to air channels are now on mpeg-4 audio visual coding system.
• You need an experienced local satellite installer to help you track the various satellite position(Please if you are not an installer, don’t try to twist your dish yourself or else you can spend days on it without success. secondly tracking a big dish larger than 1meter is no small joke)
• You need more than one dish for convenience sake. If you have the bucks and the space, you can buy a big dish and motorize it( when you talk of a big dish, it starts from 1meter while the conventional dishes we have now is either 60cm or 90cm. If i were you, i will buy a 4meter dish this means you can cover the whole of africa and asia. Nilesat requires at least a 1meter dish in northern Nigeria to get just bein sports 1-5 while hotbird requires a minimum of 3.6meter before you can get signals. if you want to get beinsports 1-12 and beinsportHD 1-5 on nilesat you need 4meters dish in southern Nigeria. If you motorize a dish, it means you can turn your big dish to any satellite position of your choice within the conform of your home without going outside)
• You need a disecq switch if you want to use small dishes more than one
• You need the knowledge of the satellite names, frequencies and channel names.

SATELLITE POSITION WHERE I CAN GET LIVE SOCCER MATCHES

getting to watch live world cup matches is far more easier than watching matches of europeasn leagues like EPL, UEFA, LALIGA BUNDESLIGA. however, the list of satellite that i shall mention will be helpful in showing both live world cup matches and leagues.
Hints: satellite names are not really relevant, the most important things is the position, frequency, polarization and symbol rates. E = East, W=West, V= vertical, H= Horizontal. All this values matters a lot when tracking a satellite tv. e.g if you see E, it means your dish must face east, H means your lnb must be positioned horizontally et.tc.

• Multitv africa located in ghana they have one of the strongest premium fta channels as they have news, drama movies and sport. Joysport  is dedicated to sports i mean live matches: the satellite name is atrab, the position is 28.0E. frequency is 12525 (H) 27000 (size of dish = 60cm)
• Eutelsat w3a 7.0E (popularly known as malagasy) Mbc1, mbc2 and MBC 3 (shows ALL FA CUP and ENGLISH NATIONAL TEAM MATCHES,with regular FTA MATCHES)  and will likey or  most definetly show all worldcup matches: Frequency; 11192(V_), 3210, 10976 (V)3333, 12728(V)30000. (size of dish = 90cm)
• NSS7 22 deg West no serious channels for sports here free, but you can enjoy free makossa, salsa e.t.c on lc1: Frequency; 10986(V) 30000 (size of dish = 60cm)
• Eutesat 4/7 36 deg East(dstv mutichoice position) no good fta channels on this position both for sport on movies we only have ebru, ccctvn, loveworldplus and sometimes setanta, cnn sometimes comes on dstv frequency as free to air but it is never stable: Frequency; 12454 (H) 27500 (size of dish = 60cm or 90cm)
• Intelsat 7/10 68.6 deg E (This is mytv africa satellite position and the there is no soccer channels here: 12722(H)26657. (size of dish = 60cm)

SPECIFIC CHANNELS THAT SHOWS LIVE SOCCER MATCHES AND THEIR FREQUENCIES & DISH SIZE

• Nilesat 101 / 102 / 007 deg West: there is no dedicated free sports channels here but there are many more channels free, there are like 12 dedicated premium sports channels i,g bein sports 1-12 which are equivalent but better tahn dstv’s supersports. These beinsports shows all live matches accross all leagues but they are not fta. However azsky, tlink and dqcam account of qsat opens beinsports. Frequency: 12265 (H) 27500, 12476 (H) 27500 etc…(smallest dish size to receive any sport channels on nilesat is 1meter dish in nothern Nigeria and 2.4meter dish in southern Nigeria(you can only receive beinsports 1-5 with a dish between 1meter and 3.0meter) To receive beinsport 1 – 12 and beinsports HD 1-5, you will need at least a 3.6 mter dish, whereas the standard is 4.0meter dish
• Hotbird / 13 deg East: this satellite has many channels that are free and shows live matches however, you can only get channels on; Frequency; for skysports italia 11541 (V) 22000 tlink opens almost all channles on hotbird with its inbuilt account (hotbird with a minimum of 3.5meter dish)
• Amos 16.0 deg East ku: it has two channels that shows live soccer they are RDV and STV2 Frequencies; 10804 (h) 30000 »(60cm dish)

• Evasion tv shows live matches located on Amos 16.0E: Frequencies; 11881 v 27500,12215 v 27500,10803 v 27500 »( with 60cm)

• AIT amos 16e: Frequency; 11007 v 30000 » ( 60cm)

• Tvc,waptv on Amos: frequency 11293 h 45000 » ( 60cm dish)

• IRIB is on arabsat cband 20e : Frequency 3963 v 27500 & 4054 h 27500 » IRIB has three premium dedicated channels just like

    ss3, ss5 and ss7 that shows all league matches. However, you can unlock these scrambled channels with the help of biss keys: 
     the biss keys to use is: 11 11 11 33 11 11 11 33 and the biss key works only on irib1, 2 and 3.(minimum of 1.2m dish)

• Optima sports this is on amos 17.0e cband : Frequency 4148 v 5000  (with 1.8m dish)

• ETV FEED on ses5 4.8e (shows UCL on tuesdays only): Frequency 12015 v 29950 ,blindscan to get the feed channel (with 60cm dish)

FINAL NOTE:

There is a difference between cband and kuband LNBs are explained below:

1. Ku-band permits the use of smaller antennas that are more beautiful better and much cheaper than C-band.
2. A typical Ku-band antenna ranges from about 50cm to 1.2m and a typical C-band antenna ranges from 1.8m, 2.4m, 3.8m etc.
3. Ku-band requires less radio power than C-band to provide the same signal stength thus allowing a smaller antenna.
4. The cost of C-band equipment and installation is much more than that of Ku-band.
5. C-band transmits at a lower frequency (around 4 MHz), while Ku band transmits at about 11 to 12 GHz.
6. C-band dishes usually come with a larger size than Ku-band satellite antennas.
7. Some satellites transmit both C and KU band frequencies. E.g Intelsat 7/10, therefore for one receive channels from the two frequencies, one needs a big dish that will be able to work with the C band signal and as well work for the KU signal.
8. The person can then choose to either provide two lnbs for the two signals or purchase a universal lnb that can receive signals across the C band and KU band frequencies (have not used that type myself).

It is just like the difference between VHS and UHF television frequency.

SATELITE DONGLE UPDATES MAY/JUNE 2014

I welcome you to yet another new month. I paused a bit with writing & publishing of articles because of the upgrade that i was performing on my server. You will all notice that this site now loads faster with no time-out. Now back to business. In this article, i will be reminding us of some happenings in May and i will aslo be enlightening us of what we should expect in June(All other things being equal).  I should start by saying that before dst* can effectively shutdown dongles, they will go the way of (Canalsat, mytv, abhu-dabi sports, nova and some channels on osn) But even that may nly be a means to an end and not the end itselft. Yes going to that extent may not be the end because as i speak, canalsat has been descrambled. Besides, dst* will incur huge finacial cost in carrying out this hardware + software major upgrade of their satellite packages. The overdue solutions to this menace is simply for dst* to slash  down their subscription. If anyone comes to me today to buy a decoder that will descramble mytv, i will not be interested because #1,200 per month for all mytv premium channels is affordable.

THE STORM IN APRIL & FIRST WEEK OF MAY

As expected, dst* once again shook the manufacturers of the remaining working iks decoders & account(Am talking about tv1 cccam accounts and qsat decoders running avatarcam codes) in april and early May. Dst* ran series of upgrades that made the available working products to either freeze or go off altogether. Qsat was worst hit ast it freezes so annoyingly that you could hardly enjoy anything. The height of the attack was when tv1 cccam account went of for like two days at a stretch  while qsat went of for four days.When they both came back, both tv1 and qsat were freezing but the three most important sports channels(ss3, ss5 and ss7) was not opening on qsat.

UPDATES AS OF LATE MAY AND JUNE 2014

- Azsky tried to come back several times over in late may. But they are not getting it right yet. Let us all hope they get it right soon enough. The only thing i can say for now is that, some channels do open on azsky at irregular interval)(if you want to know when this channels are on or off always read the comments on this site) However, once i personally confirm that azsky is fully back, i will write an article on it and also enlighten those who may have problems with theirs, what to do. In summary, as of today 1st of June, 2014 Azsky is currently opening some channels like amag, ss5, ss3, ament. This channels have been opening on azsky for the past three days but they are not very stable. The same cannot be said of A+ and eclink as those ones are still off. If you have an azsky dongle that is restarting, please don’t take any rash decision as this is a problem from azsky server which should be sorted out in due course
- Tlink and Dovesat Decoders, Microbox & Tiger red dongle: Tlink is and still remains the king and overlord of nilesat and hotbird packages. Using tlink on these packages is like using their official decoders. As at the time of this write-up, only ss3 is working on tlink with dst* package, the ame applies to dovesat.However, tlink is not limited to openning supersport 3 alone as it some times open upto 25 dst* channels.As of today 1-6-2014, tlink decoders works perfect on nilesat and hotbird, but only ss3 is showing on dst*.
-Zorrobox: Zorrobox no longer belongs to A+ they have separated, and now zorrobox works with a special(but cheaper)tv1 cccam accounts. you can contact me privately for updates on zorrobox z3 new account.
- Qsat & Speed HD S1: Much has been said on qsat in yhe preamble to this write-up. Let me say something briefly about speed hd s1; It is a decoder from the group who manufacture qsat series but its designed to open only packages on canalsat 22.0W. However you can upgrade your speed hd decoder so that it can accept an account(avatarcam code) that will enable it open dst* channels. As of today the 1st of June, 2014, Both qsat and speed HD decoders are working pefectly with their respective satellites. Also note that ss3, ss5 and ss7 is back on qsat and all channels no longer freeze. Besides, qsat teams has started selling new avatarcam codes for prospective buyers.
- TV1 Cccam account: This is the first account that first conquered dst* immediately after the massive upgrade three months ago. Tv1 still wax stronger those with a little glitch here and there. April witness a slash in the price of tv1 while may witnessed an increase in its price(though the increase was not as high as when it was first sold). Tv1 now has two major servers with different addresses and port their old server has port 010** with address; tv1.dn*****. Their new server has port – 130**, while the address of their new server is sat1.dyndn****. As of today, 1st of June, 2014. Both tv1 accounts are working with no freezing. just that ss6 is currently of on the new account this should be restored shortly.
- FTA AND IPTV: The incessant upgrades now open our eyes to the future(which is iptv technology) and the past which is free to air channels that shows important programs and events. i posted an article on relevant free to air satellites and their frequencies. you will see the links after the jump.

CONCLUSION

though things can change in the next 20 minutes from now, Am saying it with all confidence that all what i said above are 100% correct. As of today in Africa, we only have two ways of viewing dst* channels unofficially, 1. thourgh qsat using avatarcam codes or through tv1 using cccam accounts. I cannot say dst* totally lost the fight, if i say so, why is azsky, atlantisat cccam account, a+, eclink, liberty, and tlink not working with dst*?. Ds8 mangaed to win a battle, the war is still on. They should please review their subscription(because as it stands, even the rich also cry with dst* bouquets). You can ask any question on update on any decoder on this article.

New Strong Firmware with Supports For – IPTV, 3G , WIFI On 4920_4922_4922A

However, in most cases, the same software works with 4920, 4922 and 4922a. In actual fact, there is no software difference whatsoever between strong 4922 and 4922A. the only difference between the two is in the hardware component(4922A has RF output, while strong 4922 doesn’t have one).
So i can atually stick out my chest to say, what is working on 4922A will also work perfectly on strong 4922 and in most cases will also work with 4920.


Please, use the software with only the strong decoder listed above, and don’t use it with a fake strong decoder. Finally, don’t download the software into a faulty usb flashdrive and don’t try and upgrade your decoder when you know that power(electricity) may go off.
The list of channels include, Movie channels, music channels, three to four sport channels, adult channels, news and documentary. such channels like eurosport tv, sport 1, extreme sports, nTGEO hd ,  1music e.tc.
IMPORTANT PRE-REQUISITES:
Download: SRT4922A_Old_GUI_154_20140325.zip (New Software for SRT 4922A Support 3G, Wi-Fi, You Tube, IPTV and many other Functions)
Download: SRT4920_4922_4922A_157p_140509.zip (this supports 4922, 4922a and 4920 has updated IPTV)

• You must have any of Original Strong 4920 4922 or 4922A no more no less
• You must have been able to consistently access the you tube app on your strong with either an usb internet modem or via a router.
• You must a usb flash drive that has not been infected with virus
• You must Have a steady electricity supply that must last you through the entire period of upgrading your strong.
• You must have an heavy data plan, iptv consumes megabytes
• You must know that you are doing this at your own risk.

Step To getting it Done:

1. download the Software   from the links above
2. copy it to a clean usb flas drive and navigate to Menu>>External Devices>>File Manager. This is where you will locate the software you copied to your usb
3. After the upgrade, connect your modem or router as the case maybe. Once connected Goto Menu>>Entertainment>>Iptv
4. that is all, enjoy the channels while they last because some of the links may die anytime but not anytime soon

Dead Qsat after succesful Upgrade

The information am going to share here is basically on a major hardware problem being experienced by some owners / users of qsat decoders. You should also take cognizance of the fact that I am not an hardware engineer. Although you can call me a freelance software engineer because i learnt a lot from the masters on issues rekated to decoders softwares. But i have it in good confidence the reason why some qsat with enter boot loop after successful firmware upgrade. Yes you heard me right, your qsat dies when you know that you upgraded successfully and smoothly. This is caused by a defective electrical component inside the qsat decoder named crystal oscillator. This problem is quiet diffrent from “Download from TS” caused by power failure during upgrade you can fix download from ts here(download from ts is characterized by a bluescreen on your television, crystal oscillator damage will not even load any image into your television. Your television remains totally blank)

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES OF CRYSTAL OSCILLATOR PROBLEM IN QSAT RECEIVERS

• To be sincere, the major cause is due to factory defect. But unfortunately for the buyer, you won’t know until you start using it. Especially when you start upgrading your qsat. This problem is common with newer models of qsat especially Q11G+ and Q13G+. I have never had the this issue with q11g, q13g or q15g.
• Secondly, if you are fond of leaved external devices connected into your qsat when you are not using them, you are likely going to damage your crystal oscillator (such devices majorly include usb storage device e.g flash drive or external HDD)
• Finally though not confirmed, i was told that high voltage and defective lnb gradually damage the crystal oscillator.

WHAT ARE THE SYMPTOMS OF A QSAT HAVING DEFECTIVE A crystal oscillator?

1. The earlier sympotm is that your qsat will generally boot up and load into menu slower than that of your counterparts
2. If you dare upgrade a defective qsat to the latest software, you will simply hard-brick your decoder. In other words, your decoder will only write “LOAD”, it will only display one “red LED” and it will fail to display anything whatsoever on your television.

SOLUTIONS AND PREVENTIONS

My suggestions will be based on my personal observations. That is Only buy any qsat with the (+) sign as a last resort, that is if you can’t find q11g, q13g or q15g in the market.  Secondly, if you already ought a qsat with the (+) sign e,g q11g+ or q13g+, please don’t upgrade your decoder unless its absolutely necessary for example am still running the v6.03 software on my qsat q11g though the latest software is v6.68.
As for the solutions, you just have to replace the defective component this isgoing to be very difficult if you can’t find a very qualified engineer. things can be easier if you have another dead qsat that is not having the crystal oscillator problem. But left to me, the real solution is to buy another qsat unit.
Other preventions include avoiding all the causes of  crystal oscillator problem as listed above.
